Awesome Notes turns to be a crap!

I used to keep a journal since I was a kid, like a real one, I remember my mom found out about me losing my virginity because of my diary! It was funny because I denied it at first.

The story was my first boyfriend and I broke up because of reason that his family and my family just didn’t approve of us.  My ex told my mom that we did it thinking that my mom will approve of us and that he will win me back! What a really stupid move! So my mom talked to me about it and I was denying it, and she confessed that she read my diary, how could she?!? Moms really don’t know how to respect their child’s privacy.

I also love writing love letters which are not meant to be read, I had tons, I also remember my brother found one and kept teasing me because the name of the guy was the same name of his friend who always visits our house but it was two different person.

I learned how to use a computer and I started keeping a diary on a common laptop and created a directory with password but it turned out that I’m too transparent and my closest cousin new about it and was able to read everything. She even told me maybe I should be a journalist.

Then I was introduced to the world of blogging in 2001 and I stopped writing with notebook and pen and started typing my thoughts online using xanga.

Why am I talking about this? Because something really unfortunate happened yesterday.

I was introduced to iPhone last year and I downloaded this “Awesome Note” application to use as my offline journal, when I replaced the iPhone 3GS with iPhone 4 and I downloaded the application again, it restored all my previous notes from the old phone, so I don’t understand why when it crashed yesterday and I had to reinstall it, I found out that all my notes were gone! Everything is gone! My heart and soul poured out on those notes are now all gone and I literally felt like crying.  I had plans for those notes and I’m gonna let go of those soon but I didn’t want to lose everything this way.  It was just sooo disappointing, I felt like throwing my freaking phone!

all was there was the initial 9 notes, I had 40+ notes!! I even customized the bookmarks!

Day 28 – Whatever tickles your fancy

Oh well I don’t know what to talked about… how about the top 10 apps I use on my phone?

  1. eBuddy Pro – I bought this application because sometimes the free YM application is fucked up and sending messages always fails plus I get to sign in all of my accounts.
  2. Awesone Note + (Todo) – I love this application because it serves as my offline diary and it sync your documents at Google Docs, I also have my DocsToGo application but I don’t really use it much except when I open emails which has document attachments it could be really helpful.
  3. Facebook – of course who doesn’t have this in their top 10?
  4. Whoshere – this is a chat application where you can meet people around the globe and chat.
  5. Colloquy - this one is an IRC client for iPhone and yes I’m back to old school
  6. Hipstamatic – I love this application, it’s one of my favorites but I really don’t use it much, like everyday.  I love the photos that come out of this application and how you can play with it.
  7. VLC Player – This application plays movies with any format, I loved this because it saved me time to convert videos to mp4 format just to be able to play on iPhone/iPod.
  8. xFeed – This is a feed reader and no I don’t read news, I use this application to get updated with the blogs I read.
  9. pTerm – Based on Putty, and SSH client, I haven’t used it much because the only servers I can get into was servers I have from way back and I haven’t figured out yet how I can my Citrix work on iPhone. This app is really cool.
  10. WordPress – of course, but I don’t like posting using this app so I mostly use it to view/approve comments.

Oh well there are my top 10 applications that I almost use everyday.

I called in sick tonight because of my terrible colds which gives me a really bad headache, I hate stuffy/runny nose, and especially when I can’t determine if it’s normal colds or just my allergic rhinitis.

him: No for real, u r the only one I told

I’ve said it so many times, guys always says the same things… but this was sweet and I liked the song, pero wala na bang bago?

I know someone who is always arrogantly blunt but still says the sweetest thing and always on the right time, I miss him… it’s either I’m too busy or he is…  and all I ever did was whine about work whenever we talk like how much tired I am and whatnot!

Work has been really toxic, so far we are still managing but I don’t know for how long, sometimes I feel just like crying.  For the past two weeks I got used to sitting 8 hours straight without any breaks (expect when I need to pee) and had to always skip meal, and when I get home I usually lost the appetite already because I’m so tired and I just want to sleep.  I even have this burger on my fridge from last two days ago which was suppose to be my dinner but wasn’t able to eat it!

and tomorrow is another day! oopps, it’s later!!

iPhone 4 is out

Singapore launched iPhone for last night at 12AM and it was so so crazy that people had to line up from 6pm Thursday night to get the iPhone. You can read more here

“Due to overwhelming response, stocks for the iPhone 4 is not available, if you have not picked up your iPhone 4, you can reserve your iPhone 4 at http://singupnow.starhub.com/iphone4reserve for the next shipment of stocks.”

This was the exact SMS from Starhub I just received last night around 8PM.  I am a Starbhub subscriber for iPhone 3GS and I can actually renew my contract but I have to pay $300 for early re-contract plus the price of the phone unit, so before it came out I already registered my interest, but I guess I would have to wait now for new stocks but then again it’s available online at apple store.

I never really expected that a lot of people will go out and line up for iPhone 4 it was not so long when 3GS was released and everyone here in Singapore seems to have their own iPhone, you can see it everywhere and now they went gaga over iPhone 4, so despite of the so many bad reviews, people of Singapore is still a big fan after all.

I read that those antenna issue was not true and that AT&T 3G connection is the problem at US because I’ve read reviews that here in Singapore even if you are at basement 3 you will still get good receptions and calls are still clear even if how much hard your grip is on your phone.

One thing I like here in Singapore is that Internet and Mobile with 3G connection is so cheap.
